Celebrating Black Hi

Porter’s continued commitment reflects a genuine care for community, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Through this contribution we can continue our work to address essential community needs, including food security, clothing support, and programs that foster connection, dignity, and a sense of belonging,” said Eneyda Guerra, WNC’s Assistant Executive Director, during a cheque presentation held at the Centre in late January.

The Porter team, represented by Carol Blades, Director of Learning & Development and Brian Liu, Creator, presented the $25,437.00 cheque to the WNC team, with Chriselle Benjamin-Jerome, WNC’s Manager of Strategic Initiatives, also present at the handover, marking the impact of their holiday fundraising efforts and celebrating the strength of the ongoing partnership between the two organizations.

WNC extends heartfelt thanks to @porterairlines for its continued generosity and commitment to community, marked in 2025 by another successful holiday fundraising initiative in support of the Centre’s programs and services.

Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre serves individuals and families from all walks of life, offering inclusive programs and activities for all ages. Long-standing partnerships such as the one with Porter Airlines play a vital role in sustaining this work and strengthening community connections.

Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre once again thanks the Porter Airlines team for their generosity, leadership, and continued support, and looks forward to many more years of partnership and shared impact.
