🌙 On March 6th, we came together to celebrate Ramadan and honor the strength and diversity of our community. This special occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity.
A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished guests: Deputy Mayor @ausmalik , MP @runchinguyenrun , for joining us in celebration.
We also wanted to extend our deepest appreciation to our incredible volunteers; your dedication made this event possible.
Thank you to Humera Siddiqi and her Community Hub for providing a delicious meal for everyone at this year’s Iftar Gathering. Your generosity made the evening truly special! 🌙

A special shout-out to Roula Hamid, for her outstanding leadership in coordinating our 4th annual Iftar Gathering event. Roula whose journey with WNC began nearly 10 years ago was a committed program participant who became a volunteer and is now a valued member of our staff team. She exemplifies the spirit of community service and volunteerism that we hold dear.

We are beyond proud to share that WNC nominated our incredible Manager of Community Development & Seniors Programs, Gaby Motta, for the 2026 Good Neighbour Awards — and she truly embodies what it means to be a good neighbour.
From tireless advocacy to uplifting community members, supporting families, and building meaningful connections across our waterfront community, Gaby’s leadership has shaped WNC and strengthened Spadina–Harbourfront for decades. Her compassion, dedication, and commitment to community are felt by everyone who walks through our doors.
