No one should go to bed hungry. Never.
And yet in our prosperous city along the waterfront, there are local families and community members who struggle. Let’s make this holiday season a bit easier for our neighbours. Please give to our annual grocery card drive which we launch every year on Giving Tuesday Canada. Donations can be made online – see below or in person at the community centre through the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre Charitable Fund (WNCCF).
A $50 donation will provide a grocery card for a family and a $25 donation will cover a grocery card for an isolated individual or senior who is living on a fixed income.
Ways To Donate
Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre Charitable Fund has partnered with Canada Helps and Paypal Giving Fund in accepting and processing donation. When you donate via our partners, you will be making a donation to our partners (as they are also a registered charity) and a charity receipt will be issued automatically by them. Our partners will process the donation and transfer the fund to us directly.
We continue to accept donation by cheque in-person or by mail.
