Winter Spring Program Guide Detail Listing

Join us every Thursday for the Tween and Youth Cooking Challenge, a dynamic program designed to foster peer-to-peer learning and mentorship. Participants will not only develop essential food preparation skills but also have the opportunity to mentor each other, share culinary tips, and build confidence in the kitchen.

Together, tweens and youth will explore creative dishes from around the world, including making refreshing beverages, baking treats, and preparing hearty meals like lasagna, macaroni pie, baked chicken, and more. The program will also feature fun food challenges where participants can showcase their talents and learn from their peers.

The Tween and Youth Multimedia Program is designed for students in Grades 6 through 12. Join us every Tuesday to explore exciting new workshops while receiving mentorship from Youth Workers and peers. Our program features a variety of activities, including Introduction to 3D design, audio engineering, beat making, and much more! Light snacks are offered and spaces are limited!

Are you a youth looking for a job but unsure where to start? Bring your laptop and get prepared with our Get Jobs for Youth program. Offered both online and in-person, this program provides engaging workshops to help you write effective resumes and cover letters, navigate the job search process, prepare for interviews and much more!

Programs are offered on Mondays (in-person) and Tuesdays (online and by appointment only).

Come join us for our exciting new program centered around baking delicious sweets and treats from around the globe. This program is in high-demand among the youth in our cooking program! Whether it's cakes, brownies, or cookies, our baking program will enhance youth's baking skills and introduce them to new, trendy recipes that will satisfy their taste buds.

Join us as we learn to cook and share dinner together! Partake in cooking challenges and learn diverse recipes from all over the world!

The Youth Skills Program provides a supportive environment where participants can develop social, leadership, and life skills through mentorship, workshops, and peer mentorship. Held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with snacks and guidance, the program offers opportunities to explore careers, earn community service hours, and build confidence and connections for future success.

The Multimedia Studio is a practical program where you can learn hands on with our highly skilled WNC staff! This program is great for those interested in becoming a recording artist, producer, audio engineer, photographer, videographer, or graphic designer. Learn all the fundamentals you need to launch your creative career!

Have fun participating in a variety of activities and sports including floor hockey, volleyball, soccer, treasure hunts, four-square, and many more! Create and engage in activities with our Youth Worker and receive community service hours! Light Snacks are available

Youth in Grades 6 to 8 are invited to join our Tween PA Day Camp! Come ready to enjoy fun games and activities throughout the day. Camps run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that trip durations may vary, and additional trip fees may apply.
