N2N is a friendly visiting program offered free of charge to waterfront community members. Please note that appointment support is provided to registered N2N clients. Contact us for full details: 416.392.1509 ext. 326.

TIME

Offered in partnership with Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, TIME (Together In Motion and Exercise) is a modified exercise program suitable for adults with mobility challenges who can walk at least 10 meters and may use a cane or walker.   • N2N 2.0

    Neighbour to Neighbour 2.0 keeps isolated seniors connected! As part of a collaboration between four community-focused agencies (Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre, The Neighbourhood Group, West Neighbourhood House and Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre), N2N 2.0 works to reduce social isolation in older adults. We match older adults with staff and volunteers as part of our friendly visiting program.

    This is an open art studio time where everyone is welcome to join.   • SENIORS ADVISORY COMMITTEE/NEW HORIZONS GRANT MANAGEMENT TEAM

    Open to all Seniors! This committee advocates on seniors’ issues, plans special events, shares skills/ideas with the community and oversees WNC senior projects funded by: Government of Canada – New Horizons for Seniors Program and Government of Ontario, Ministry of Senior Affairs – Seniors Active Living Centres and Seniors Community Grants. (The committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.)
