Horticulture Therapy

The horticultural therapy program facilitates opportunities for community members to connect with each other, nature and themselves. In this group we use nature and its beauty as a point of connection to bring the community together. This program will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00pm at the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre. And on Fridays as posted on the calendar in the community room of local housing partners. This program will run into March 30th, 2018. You can expect to attend trips to gardens across the GTA, butterfly conservatories and much more. We will have guest speakers and we are grateful to have support from local businesses and community members to enrich the experience for participants. Expect to explore nature, mindfulness and journaling. Holistic wellness using the healing elements of our beautiful surroundings in Toronto. Special thanks to our program funder: Government of Canada – New Horizons for Seniors.
