We miss you!
Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. Although Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre (WNC) is closed, we are working to ensure when we re-open, WNC is ready to have everyone back safely.
During this time WNC has been focused on working on developing new policies, cleaning protocols and a recovery plan. We want ensure the safety of our staff and community members when the time comes to resume programs and services. WNC has implemented physical distancing measures, access to personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff, and COVID-19 screening.
As we continue to follow City of Toronto and Toronto Public Health recommendations, Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre will be offering the following programs on-site and virtually:
- Summer Daze Camp (6-12 years old)
- Tween Summer Leadership Camp (Grade 6- Grade 10)
- Programs will include Youth Lounge, Youth Sports, RM 13 Multimedia Studio
- Community Connect Garden
- Early On- Baby Drop-In and Wednesday Evening Program
- Growing Up Healthy Downtown (GUHD) Family Drop In Programs
- Ready, Set, Learn @Home
- Get Jobs 4 Youth
- Youth Info, Support & Referrals
- Afternoon Tea & Social
- Senior Connect 2.0 Morning & Afternoon Sessions
- Community Kitchen & Nutrition
These Programs will be offered from Monday, July 13th – Thursday, August 28th, 2020.

All other programs and services will remain closed. The building will remain close to the public.
WNC staff team are continuing to support the community, especially our most vulnerable members, through emails and telephone check-ins.
Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre will have staff on site to answer any questions or inquiries you may have via telephone or email. We are available Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm. Please see the directory for staff email addresses and phone extensions.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience and their support during this complex time. WNC hopes to welcome everyone back very soon. Until then, please remember to practice physical distancing, proper hygiene and stay safe. We’re all in this together!
