  • Get Jobs for Youth (GJY)

    Need a job? Don’t know where to start? Get Jobs for Youth is a program that helps youth seeking employment activities include resume writing, interview prep, job fair trips.

    Note: Appointments available for resumes, cover letter and assistance writing as well as interview preparation.

  • MJKO Boxing Safety First Summer Challenge (Age 6 – 18)

    This challenge teaches participants basic boxing as a form of self-defense while learning some very important personal safety tips. All fitness levels welcome. A healthy snack will be provided. All equipment is provided. To register and for more info please contact

  • Room 13 Multimedia Studio

    Learn how to create, mix and record your own music or create cool videos. This program is perfect for anyone who has an interest in being a producer, audio engineer, videographer or MC.

  • WNC Community Computers

    WNC has 2 computers available for general use and 1 computer for resumes on a first come, first serve basis. There is a 30 minutes limit per use. Computer have Internet access and Microsoft Office.

    Print and photocopies cost 10¢ per page and 50¢ per page for local faxes.

  • Young Men’s Club

    In this club, young men will have a chance to participate in various activities that will help teach life skills, leadership skills and talk about topics that affect male youth. Guys Night Out, guest speakers, sports and much more.

  • Young Women’s Club

  • Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

    Are you interested in helping your community? Learning new skills? YAC is a program where youth will coordinate neighborhood events, fundraise, and create new youth community initiatives.

  • Youth Leaders In Training (YLIT) (Grade 9 to 11)

    We are looking for youth to participate in our Youth Leaders in Training (YLIT). Youth will have an opportunity to participate in workshops and activities that will focus on leadership skills. Youth will also be placed in various programs that we offer: Summer Camp, Family Program and Senior’s Program. Youth must be currently in grade 9-11, live within the community and must participate for the entire 8 weeks.

  • Youth Summer Leadership Program for Tweens/Teens (Grade 6 to 9)

    A great summer program for youth in grades 6-10! This program will help youth build leadership skills through fun team building activities, exciting trips, and sports and recreation. This program will aslo help youth develop creative projects through our Room 13 Art & Multimedia Studio. It’s free to participate. Some trip fees may apply.

    Notes: Registration required. Only youth who were in grade 6 in Sept 2016 will be permitted to attend this camp. Youth who are entering grade 6 in Sept 2017 will not be able to attend.
